Founder’s Profile

Professor Habib Khan Muslim was a great humanitarian, a great conversationalist, loved travelling, teaching and helping others. He worked with great enthusiasm, dedication and commitment along with his students to provide emergency services in district Bhakkar during 1990s when proper rescue services from government did not exist.

He used to run blood donation campaigns in order to ensure provision of blood units to the patients admitted in District Headquarter Hospital Bhakkar during the times of emergency or otherwise. He served in Government Degree College Bhakkar from 1987-1999 and later he was transferred to Government College Satellite Town Rawalpindi.

He continued his humanitarian work in Rawalpindi and Islamabad especially when he saw laborers who come from various cities of the country in search of bread n butter to the twin cities. He found these people, away from home, in a very helpless situation as they were bound to sleep on footpaths and had to face hunger when they were unable to find work. Therefore he initiated a free food center named Dastar Khawan Fee Sabeelillah on 14th of May 2004 at Peshawar More G-9/4 with a dream that nobody sleeps hungry in the country.

Dastar Khawn Fee Sabeelillah was registered as Services International Trust in 2011. At the age of 54, Professor Habib Khan Muslim passed away on 4th of October 2012. After his death, his son Muhammad Safeer Aadil, current Chairman of Services International Trust, took charge of Dastar Khawan Fee Sabeelillah.
